Rylee has been begging for a "dress-up wedding dress". While staying with my mom Friday evening, she mentioned to my mom that she wanted one like that of her friend Emily (Leslie's little girl). Mom told Rylee she thought she might have something that she could use for playing dress up. Early Saturday morning, mom brought over this dress. This is a "miniature bride" wedding gown my mom made for me to match my cousin Kelly's wedding gown (I was the miniature bride in her wedding when I was 6 years old). Mom cleaned it up, and it was a perfect fit for Rylee. Check out the comparison. The second picture is a picture of me wearing the dress the day of Kelly's wedding - June, 1985. I have to explain the bangs I'm sporting in this picture - as a child, I NEVER had bangs, so this almost doesn't look like me! A night or two before the wedding, Maria hit me in the forehead and left a huge knot/bruise. My mom cut the bangs as a solution to hide the knot.

How great of your mom to keep that dress! I know that Rylee must love it!!
Okay so I always thought that Rylee was a spitting image of you, but now this just confirms that. I love that you have one of then and one of now. Just think maybe someday Rylee will have a little girl to pass it on too. And that Julie what a jewel I could steal her as my own mom!
