My 30th bday

While Steven didn't get too many photos (at least not one that I'll share), he did make my birthday very special this year by throwing me a surprise party (Huge cookout) for my close friends and family. On the Saturday before my birthday (9/1), Steven had all these people waiting to overwhelm me as I arrived in the van with my mom after a weekend to the mountains. I have to admit that I never would have DREAMED he could have pulled off a surprise - he completely shocked me - with some major lies and some help from some family members and Heather! I can't believe I've already turned 30!!!!! He knew my spirits would need to be lifted, I guess - I had told him that I'd really just like to have some new clothes and pretend I wasn't having another birthday, but he decided to spend money and time trying to make this birthday extra special. Thank you, Steven, for loving me so much to take the time and effort to make this so special. Thank you to all my family and friends who took the time to come and surprise me and show me your love as I step into my 30s!!!!!
