This Memorial Day weekend has been one of the most wonderful, relaxing weekends I've had in a while - no birthday parties, weddings, or showers!!!! Friday afternoon, we went up to Steven's mom's and then Rylee and Caden played in the sprinkler with Vanessa and Kirsten (I forgot to take my camera, so I have no pictures to show you!). We ordered out, and enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the kids play. Saturday, we spent cleaning the house and getting things in order before our night out (Steven and I had a night away from the kids on Saturday!). Then, on Sunday, we played outside all afternoon (see below). That night, after church, several young couples came over and brought their kids. We all ordered pizza and played more! Today, Jason's dad came over and put down carpet in our new bonus room while Maria, Jason's mom, and I took the kids to the mall to get them out of the house. After our trip to the mall, we came home and played outside in the pool more! The kids have DEFINITELY gotten some use out of the kiddie pool/slide this weekend! Tonight, we grilled out at Steven's mom's with Steven's family. I forgot my camera again!
