On Saturday evening, Steven and I were able to enjoy a night out. Jason and Maria kept the kids while we went out to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings in Hickory with our friends Davey and Ashlee Ledford and Mark and Christy Miller. Mark and Christy have a 5 week old little boy - Brandon. He went with us and was EXCELLENT! He slept from the time we left our house until the time we returned to our house after dinner. When we got home, Steven lit a fire in the fire pit, and we girls took turns holding Brandon while chatting by the fire. The boys played horse shoes. Adult contact without the kids is SOOOOOOOO nice every once in a while, but I'm ALWAYS ready to see my babies after a night away!
